The stand makes it a proper bedside bassinet, and I love that the cot lifts right off for daytime naps in the living room. Baby seems genuinely comfortable in it and the padding feels sturdier than I expected at this price.

What surprised me most is how light the whole cot is — I can carry it from the bedroom to the living room with one hand while holding the baby in the other. The mattress pad is firmer than I expected, which my midwife said is actually better for a newborn.

The carry cot clicks onto the stand so easily that I can move it from the bedroom to the living room without waking the baby. It's been her cozy spot for naps since we brought her home, and at under 20 pounds she still fits with room to spare.
