The mesh is fine enough that even the tiny gnats couldn't get through during our evening walks. It fits snugly over the bassinet without sagging, and I like that I can still see my son clearly through it. Windy afternoons by the lake are no longer a hassle.
Kept the mosquitoes off my daughter during an evening picnic and the mesh still let plenty of air through. It clips on tight enough that I wasn't constantly adjusting it.
Took this on a hike last weekend and it kept every bug off my daughter the whole time. The mesh still lets plenty of air through, so she napped without getting sweaty. Zips on easy too.
