Washed these before the first use and they came out even softer, no shrinking or pilling at all. They fit the mattress snugly with no loose corners, which matters at 3am. Bought a second pack.
These jersey cotton sheets are so soft against my baby's cheeks, and they actually stay snug on the mattress instead of bunching up at 3am. The cross pattern is subtle enough that it still looks calm in the nursery, and both have survived several hot washes without fading.
Wasn't sure two would be enough but the cotton is so breathable that my little one sleeps without getting clammy. They wash up great too, no shrinking after a few cycles.
