What surprised me most is how light the whole cot is — I can carry it from the bedroom to the living room with one hand while holding the baby in the other. The mattress pad is firmer than I expected, which my midwife said is actually better for a newborn.

The carry cot clicks onto the stand so easily that I can move it from the bedroom to the living room without waking the baby. It's been her cozy spot for naps since we brought her home, and at under 20 pounds she still fits with room to spare.

The stand turns the cot into a proper bedside bassinet, and it sits right at mattress height so I barely have to move for those 3am feeds. My little one naps in it fine during the day too, and it's light enough that I can shift it between rooms on my own.
