The cutest little chicken made of braided cords! Handcrafted using a braided cord made of fibers from recycled PET bottles mixed with our cotton yarns in soft Golden color, the Charlie the Chicken basket has a beak and braided legs in Rose, and tufted yellow wings.
Didn't expect a storage basket to make me smile every time I walk past it, but the braided cord shape really does look like a little chicken. It's sturdier than I figured for something made from recycled bottle fibers, and it holds a surprising amount of blankets without sagging.
My toddler immediately claimed this as her "chicken basket" and now drags it around the house stuffed with her little wooden eggs. The braided cord has a nice sturdy weight to it, and I like that it's made from recycled plastic bottles mixed with cotton.
The braided cord feels surprisingly sturdy, and you can tell it's made from recycled fibers without it looking cheap. It's currently holding my daughter's hair ties on the dresser, but honestly it's cute enough to just sit there empty. The golden color is warmer in person than in the photos.
