The Thule Subterra 2 Sling is an adaptable bag that can be used alone to bring your essentials, combined with other bags on your travels, or used as a packing cube inside a larger bag.
The sling works great as a personal item on flights, then I just drop it inside my carry-on once I'm at the gate. Love that it doubles as a packing cube so nothing goes to waste in my bag setup. The strap sits comfortably even when it's loaded with a water bottle and charger.
Took this on a weeklong trip as my only personal item and it slid under the seat fine. The zip pockets inside actually keep my passport and charger from turning into a jumbled mess. Now I use it solo for quick errands too.
The strap lies flat against my chest even when the bag’s packed full, and the way it tucks into itself as a packing cube is genius for throwing it in my carry-on. I’ve worn it all day sightseeing and never felt the need to switch shoulders.
