Compare the Chicco Close to You SE Changer & Organizer with the Stokke Sleepi Changing Table. One is portable and budget-friendly; the other is a stationary, height-optimized nursery piece.
Quick answer
Choose the Chicco Close to You SE Changer & Organizer if you need a portable, budget-friendly changing station that attaches to a bassinet. Choose the Stokke Sleepi Changing Table if you want a dedicated, stationary table at an ideal height with open space for your feet.
Portability vs. permanence
The Chicco Close to You SE Changer & Organizer is designed to zip onto the Close to You SE Bassinet (sold separately), turning it into a mobile changing station. This means you can move the changing area from room to room or even travel with it. The Stokke Sleepi Changing Table, on the other hand, is a fixed piece of nursery furniture that pairs with the Stokke Sleepi cribs and stays in one place.
Height and comfort
The Stokke Sleepi Changing Table is built at an ideal height for changing your baby, with open space underneath for your feet. This can reduce back strain during diaper changes. The Chicco Close to You SE, when attached to the bassinet, sits at bassinet height, which may be lower and less ergonomic for some parents.
Price and value
The Chicco Close to You SE Changer & Organizer is priced at USD 55.99, making it an affordable addition to an existing bassinet. The Stokke Sleepi Changing Table is USD 269.40, a more significant investment but one that includes a dedicated, height-optimized changing surface as part of a coordinated nursery set.
